Golf Course With Better Experience

Tour Our Course

Muang Kaew is an 18-hole championship length golf course. There are numerous challenging holes, all set in a parkland environment with lakes and klongs winding their way through the golf The holes are lined with a variety of mature tree, which give the golf course its great ambience and challenging play.

Hole By Hole

The original architects masterfully designed Muang Kaew by making the maximum use of the natural environment and green space. To further enhance the playability and beauty of the course, in 2003, the golf course was re-designed by the Schmidt-Curley Design Company, adding new green complexes – tournament speed Tiff-Eagle Greens, and extensive drainage

Facilities And Services

We offer a full complement of facilities and services to golfers including a golfer’s bar and restaurant overlooking the golf course; a fully stocked pro shop; spacious locker rooms; two practice greens and a short game area; golf carts; and golf club and shoe rentals. Muang Kaew also offers a beautiful swimming pool area.

Redesigned by LEE SCHMIDT of SCHMIDT-CURLEY in 2003, Muang Kaew Golf Course features 18 subtlety guarded green complexes most of which are elevated, great golf course conditions and excellent management from a mixture of Western expat and Thai golf service professionals

As with most of Lee Schmidt’s work, the bunkering provides both visual and golfing effect and balances the risk and reward aspect of great golf course design.

The fairways are generous to give the golfer space to circumvent the bunkering and challenging greens.  The real challenge is positioning off the tee – the pin position dictates the area on the fairway to be on.

Conditioning is always top quality, established by the joint Western and Thai Managers to USGA standard.  The greens of the latest Tiff-Eagle variety give smooth and fast putting surfaces. Normal green speed is 10.5 to 11.5 feet on the stimpmeter.

The short game practice facilities feature two tiff eagle putting greens, chipping area and practice bunker.  The course operates a small warm-up practice tee in the mornings and afternoons.

Tee Time Management is observed with maximum 4 balls at weekends and 5 balls during the week  with target times for all groups of 4 and half hours.  There are always players assistants on hand to help with service and pace of play……
